Company History
M2 Property Solutions Ltd was established in 2015, starting to buy houses, refurbing them to a high standard, offering great service and providing Co-Living space in London. Later it branched out to provide homes for Care-Leavers and people with special needs and then expanded into Serviced Accommodation.
M2 Commercial Ltd was set up in 2022 to further diversify the property portfolio with mixed-use commercial properties.
Our two founders Karin and ToM grew up near Vienna in beautiful Austria. Both worked in big corporates for most of their lives.
They moved over to London, UK with their 10-year-old son in 2011 because of ToM’s new and exciting job change.
After renting for 2 years they bought their first property in the UK and soon figured out there is some significant difference in housing between the UK and the small Mid-European country they grew up in. Back there they renovated their homes with the help of family whilst being focused on sustainability and longevity.
They were astounded by how slow UK landlords are with maintenance requests, how they “solve” issues with quick-fixes instead of sustainable solutions, the poor general build/refurb quality and they learned new vocabulary for the property buying process (gazumping and gazundering). Finding solutions for all those issues quickly got big on their agenda.
After moving into their refurbed home Karin started to educate herself by taking part in a 12-month Property Mastermind programme to understand the problems and find potential solutions. M2 Property Solutions Ltd was born, starting to buy houses, refurbing them to a high standard, offering awesome service and providing Co-Living space in London. Later they branched out to provide homes for Care-Leavers and people with special needs and started to expand into Holiday Homes.
ToM left his big corporate job in 2019 to join his wife full time.
Their latest venture is the diversification into the commercial property space. ToM joined a mentoring group of experts and fellow investors in 2022 and M2 Commercial was founded.
Both are excited to work on improving the current property situation in the UK and dedicate their time to this mission.
Meet the team
Former Export Finance Expert structuring complex international solutions and securities, who started in properties in 2013.
Property Masterminder since 2014, Founder and Director of Business Development and Operations of M2 Property Solutions, certified and accredited Landlord.
Former Senior Executive (CMO and CDO) for Three UK joined M2 Property Solutions full time in 2019 to systemise and scale it. Experienced Business Transformer, Mentor and Coach, who enjoys creating and getting it done.
